Administrative Council

Description:This is the planning and coordinating body of the church. Each area of ministry has representation around the table as we seek to offer nurture, outreach and mission opportunities.

Finance Committee

Description:The finance committee seeks ways to financially support the mission of making disciples for Christ.  Through fundraisers, stewardship campaigns and budgeting of resources, they help the church to fulfill her calling.

Staff Parish Relations Committee

Description:

This committee assists the church in living out its mission and vision by hiring, equipping and supporting the church staff.  This committee handles personnel matters, provides spiritual support, and serves as a liason between congregation and staff enabling everyone to be heard and supported.

Lay Leader

Description:The Lay Leader is an assistant to the pastor in leading the congregation in spiritual growth, and carrying out the mission of making disciples for Jesus Christ.

Communications Committee

Description:This group of people work at sharing information on what is happening in the life of the church and community. Through local papers, social media, flyers, banners, church marquee, bulletins,  announcements, and word of mouth they get the word out.

Board of Trustees

Description:This committee oversees property management and repair of the buildings and grounds of Bethel.

Stewardship

Description:This commitee helps to educate, promote and celebrate the giving of our time, talent, gifts, and resources as our spiritual worship.

Evangelism

Description:This committee helps to coordinate evangelistic practices throughout the other committees and the congregation.  The goal is to introduce all people, everywhere, to Jesus Christ.

Missions

Description:This committee promotes opportunities to serve in mission in the local community, through the Griffin District, North Georgia Conference, and international missions.

Bridges Director

Description:Volunteers who offer guidance and support to the Children and Youth.  They assist in the planning and implementation of education, nurture, missions and special events for children and youth.

Children Coordinators

Description:Volunteers who love children and seek to make learning about God fun.  The volunteers work with the children’s minister in program planning and activities.

Young Adult / College Students

Description:Coordinates programs, activities and volunteers for young adult ministries in the congregation and in the wider community.

Adult Coordinators

Description:Coordinates programs, activities and volunteers for adult ministries in the congregation and in the wider community.

Older Adult Coordinators

Description:Coordinates programs, activities and volunteers directed toward our Senior Saints in the congregation and in the wider community.

Education Committee

Description:This committee coordinates teachers, volunteers, and material used throughout our education ventures around the church.

Music Ministry

Description:Anyone who would like to share their musical gifts during worship should contact our Music Director.

Worship Committee

Description:This committee works to enhance the worship experiences, particularly planning details for special Sundays, and holidays.

Description:Men who gather for fellowship, service, and spiritual growth.

Description:Women involved in missions and spiritual growth, while advocating for the empowerment of  women, youth and children.
